There are somethings best left alone and without comment.
Sadly there are some members that do not know what lines they cross bringing comment to things which they know nothing about, all in an effort to promote their message.
The worst of them do actually know they have crossed a line and simply dont give a shit. Shame really.
Not even an apology from Katman.
He's all class.
NOT!!!
And never will be!!!
Fucken hypocrite. Thinly veiled threats via PM including not only an invitation to 'say it to your face' but also sending your freekin address!?
You katman are a psycho-to believe someone would ride from auckland to taupo to confront somebody over a couple of pissy comments on KB speaks volumes about your character, or lack there of.
Hey you 2...there is no need for attacks...
Sixbelly, you have had your Katman moments...not criticising just making an observation.
Katman...I support your intentions but you need to give the pm's a miss.
Remember "Jesus" forgives....and so should we...otherwise we end up hurting ourselves more.
Haha I remember when you threatened to beat up ragingrob and another SMCer.
I feel left out...threaten me too...
You seem so angry, kb gets to the best of us but why threaten people with violence, just threatening someone with violence can be as bad as hitting them so calm it. I see where your handle comes from...you seem to explode every other second. Try some horse tranquilizer.....wait no elephant tranquilizer..that should do it.
I agree with most of what Katman says.
However I think he is wasting his time, as motorcyclists are simply not (and never will be) a coherent group. Actually the fact that I used the word "motorcyclists" to describe us is a good indication of the problem. I loathe the word "biker" - it conjures up images of...of... of.... (actually I won't say 'cause I have enough red rep for the minute).
The first time I was ever called a "biker", was by a colleague at work 20 years ago- a man considerably older than me, who rode (and very slowly I might add), a Honda GL500 Silver Wing. He said - "...I hear you're a fellow biker..?" I was taken aback - how could this Nana, this silly old coot on an overfettled boat anchor, have any connection with me (a windswept dirt bike he-man)?
Shit, I didn't even ride on the road...
The problem is that the public see us as one group and that is inherently unfair, as can be exemplified by the fact that the media don't say "Dangerous Carpersons", they say "Boy Racers". But when reporting on motorcycle riders they don't differentiate - they say "bikers" or "motorcyclists" This means that whereas all car drivers don't get painted the same as their hoon element, we do.
So for a minute, put yourself in Katmans shoes - he's got a lot invested in this sport/hobby/lifestyle and tries to protect it - but he gets categorized with young fuckwits like Carver..
So these days, I may be that Nana in the eyes of some younger enthusiasts, as I share Katmans impending sense of doom. I may not see us a cogent group, but the fucking politicians do, and they don't like what they see...
