mister.koz - how does your vid compare in quality? This stuff looks real jerky to me....
Yeah i had a couple of bits where i knew my tire was not so happy on the loose tar, reckon it will be sweet for february rides by that time the seal should have settled.

The video quality is hard to guage on youtube cause youtube is kinda meant to be poo for copyright reasons. the atc2k is meant for push bike helmets so its not awesome but it does give a good view of riding style mainly entry/exit breaking and throttle in the corners which is what i want it for.

"More commitment required" Exactly so..... but then again, it felt all wrong on approach....the commitment needed to be earlier in the piece. By the time I had effed it up I was gonna cross the centre anyway.......rest of the ride was just fine.....learning never stops y'know....

So did you find your contact in the gravel? Didn't you say you just had to pop over to that driveway to see if you could find it again If someone wasn't paying attention watching the vid (like I was) and you didn't mention anything, you wouldn't know that was a screw up.

Sounds like everyone had a good run out to Kawhia on Sunday.
I had a great time in Taupo, cant wait to have another go on a track.
Managed to use 15l of gas to go only 133km, only about 8km on the road. Left part of the bike on the track, scraping foot pegs on all the tight corners.

Certainly lucky with the car though. What was your speed like? It didn't seem like you were going quick (which was a good thing), or is that just the camera?

Hey, just an idea but if a few of you guys are doing a track day at the same place on the same day I am sure a few (if not most) of the laxed out group would love to come and spend the day watching you guys. (would have loved watching Paddy scraping the pegs everywhere).

Keep us all informed of any track days members are going to!!!!

Probably those sticky-outey indicators would have given it a bit of drag

Anyone interested in seeing the new lights:

Its not obvious until you look at the old photos (also in my albums)
