Trying to catch up on all the events, all going well I will be there this week, sad to hear there was an accident , will be good to see D there.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Haven't been that way before and just curious. Weather dependant and all of course.

We had an awesome ride early this year on a simply stunning Wednesday nite...Sure the straights are a bit of a pain but Weka Pass & the road thru to Scargill....magic!!

I remember it seemed like the temperature went up 10 degrees as we got to Waipara....the Busas rock & rolled that evening!!

The wee pocket rockets did just fine too

Theres a few KBers out North so good to head their way sometimes

If you do head north is there a north side meeting point or does everyone still go to the BK on moorhouse?? Just wondering for those of us who live on the North side....

We'll have to see about the 'Wet Route' it could be a little slippery! Sorry, pathetic I know.
    Sounds good.
Well I think since it is your route that you had better lead the charge and clear all of that grit outta the way.

Anyone know if they have bar meals at the Wheatsheaf?? Or do I have to carry on to "Good god"ley house? Wouldn't want to fade away........

meeting point will be the same for prosperity, but we could certainly organise a secondary meeting point (known hence forth as bravo) at the PEG? or something.

    The Wet Route

    Wheatsheaf via Summit & Evans

An interesting route with plenty of twisty bits. Has the bonus of easily being extended, either to Diamond Harbour or to Duvauchelles etc. Lots of options for routes home.

    Ideal Re-group Points:
    1. Top of Dyers in the Sign of the Kiwi carpark.
    2. Top of Evans in lookout

Looks bloody good to me. Haven't been on the bike proper for 4 or 5 weeks so looking forward to it. Weather is looking perfect so far...nice warm tarmac.
