    Road/Weather mint

    Road over the Kaimai's is good, bad patch of road works between Te Poi and bottom Kaimai's. Weather mint both sides, see you's there for an evening pootle, usual place, usual time

    Thinking about it, I think I did it today on another gravel road (sigh) as I checked the oil before I left and it was full (I did about 170Km after I left DeMouNTeD's). It sure aint now and there's oil all over the zorts. Wish I'd got the hole in the guard fixed straight away though.

    Umm....I need a lovely assistant to help me get the thing off so I can take it to local alloy shop to (hopefully) get it fixed.

    best ride ive had on the R1 since last summer. looking forward to more!
