I got death split by some knob the other day on a naked 250 or 400 thing just after the gorge joins in to the motorway. I saw the bike coming so I pulled in way ahead and put my hand up, the bike was going wayyy too quick and weaving across three lanes and back to split, WTF ?

I split every day and this bike made me nervous, the car bound must have been crapping themselves. Oh and I don't think they were wearing gloves or bike gear, just a giant helmet to fit their giant head.

I don't think they realise that riding stupidly like this only pisses off everyone else on the road and results in calls to the cops about stupid bikers splitting badly. Then I get pulled up again and given a ticket for "failure to keep left" (when splitting safely)

If that person is on here, stop being a cock. At the risk of sounding like a grandpa... Split but split respectfully, cheeky riding is OK, agressive riding will get you hurt and riding abusively will make people actively want to hurt you.

Yeah, well, there's a time and a place for that kind of riding, 07:30 in the morning in heavy traffic and before anyone has had coffee is asking for a stomp on your weedy little arse.

The 100kph in the breakdown lane rider is fine by me, the over-speed but predictable splitter is fine too, I'm that myself occasionally, whoever this was was just a f**king idiot.

Absolutely no respect, cutting cars up and making them brake, swooping across three lanes of traffic at twice the speed of the cars, slowing hard and then caning the little POS they were riding to force a gap.

It was like one of those yappy little dogs, they snap and bounce around making lots of noise, zipping and nipping but eventually the big dogs get annoyed and pin the thing to the ground.

Feh... The way I look at it, somewhere as I type Karma is warming up the Ford Explorer for the Monday work run.

I think I got carved passed by the plonker myself just before aotea quay, wearing a wind breaker and a helmet? I mean, I split quickly but if its the same (I think Black Hyobag GT250 naked) then he/ she is a f@cking looney.

    er.............

I hope the rider your describing isn't a blue naked VTZ with a tail pack on, rider in a black jacket and white helmet with silver graphics 7.30am on friday.
