10am meet at Jen's, then ride down as a group.
Or perhaps we group up on the grass back a bit from the roadway, where the group can be seen and added to? Gets pretty busy there.
Cheers,

I can hear 150 cooling fans whirring away up Trafalagr St already!!
Have fun anyways...
Great pics as usual Nordie. Cheers. A great run how many bikes there- anyon know yet?
Well, another fantastic weekend in the Marlborough Sounds riding out to Bulwer, stayed at Waitata Bay Lodge, can highly recommend it to other KB's, bike friendly bunch, nice digs and primo spot for relaxing and swimming.
Thanks to Underground for his local knowledge and his guidance around some sneaky side tracks, great fun on the chook chasers, might be a little knarly for bigger bikes. I'm a happy man.....
The Mangatapu has been cleaned up a bit, some of the bigger holes filled in, but still kinda rough in places. Had a couple of huge moments on bleeding tar on the way home from Okiwi Bay tho, gotta remind myself not to motard it on knobblies and take it easier on those real hot days.Yep, brown undies for sure, but the DRZ is very forgiving of me

Sunday 5:30ish this was at the start of the Maungatapu...
So I went up Kaka Hill instead...
What is it with the forestry people.
Open up the trails on the weekend but have locked gates within a km or so on each track leaving the carpark...
'cos then they can argue that access was allowed?
Cheers,

No signage re. road closure at the Pelorus end funnily enough.
Be brave Nordie and venture past the ropes....remember, this is a public road, not privately owned forestry block.
The closure could be argued, it's probably for the benefit of most who would struggle with the track conditions.
Anyway, the sign did say "temporarily closed"....where's the date?![]()
I went for a cruise up the maunga about 7pm Sun nite & the rope was down but the sign still there. Looked like a set of Dr650 MT21 prints over the rope on the ground. Anyway went 1/2 way up the hill & found it a lot better than last week. Beautiful long evenings...
Can anyone get time off on thursday care to go for a spin ? pack a sickie /mental health day, I know Im due for one
