hahaha brilliant! Isn't destruction of personal property a dismissal at Macca's? (is it Macca's you work at?). You can get her to clean the toilets and shit every hour.

A little story, some dude side swipped my car when the old man was driving. The dude stopped and gave all the details and said he was having a bad day. I got the car repaired (under insurance) and I had to pay excess for them to release the car. The told me the insurance company reimburses (mine anyway).

Was a little pissed about it and talked to insurance. They said they have to get the guy to admit liability but do not need him to pay the excess!! Once they get him admitting it, they reimburse me. Few months, no money. To be honest I wrote it off because they couldn't get hold of him. Then a cheque arrived in the mail from insurance

You're in a much better position than me since you have witnesses and you know her.

You'll get your dosh (if you have to pay) and her parents will be pissed at her. Unless they hate evil bikers

and remember - you (as the Boss of her) have to be MORE professional in the workplace - else you can easily be setup for constructive dismissal.

You need to handle all this OUTSIDE of your place of employment - else that part could come back to bite you on the ass.

ahhh im glad that you seem to be getting somewhere with it seemed you were gona come out of this situation completely shafted, glad that's not the case but after we get definite proof that you only need about 4 people to turn her car on its side (which surely we can get together 4 or 5 people) and even a guy with a forklift license pops up i cant help but wish a lil bit that things weren't working out so we could go do it... maybe we should do it anyway...

well this seems pretty much solved anyway, insurance doesnt play around they will get debt collectors if they have to and she should admit liability, you do have people who witnessed the event even if she denies it... only thing to look out for from now on is dnt eat anything she makes at maccas... might be custom made for you with special revenge sauce

Thanks Tank, i was only too aware of this as my boss pointed out. There is no way i can bring this up at work. Especially being her boss!

    Thanks

An excellent and valid point, remain professionaal at all times. And perhaps i am being a bit paranoid here, but dont under any circumstances speak to here with out a witness, E.G, If she wants to talk to you in private take a witness, other wise ,.... well i am sure you get the point.

Random curiosity, the AA is my regular insurer. When I called them and asked about insurance they said they would only insure riders on Full Licenses.

How did you manage to wangle insurance from them? I would have loved to do the same, simply so I could have kept everything together, but luckily the good guys at Kiwi Rider sorted me out in a snap! (Well worth a chat for insurance question guys!)

Sorry if the question offends - I'm assuming you don't have a Full License yet given you're 16.

Not 100% sure because i dont do this insurance jazz. I just give my dad a payment each week.... BUT I believe i am a named rider. My old man is under as main person??? If that makes any sense. The guy said that as long as my father was the "named rider" or something like that its fine. Of course hes got his full but doesn't ride anymore. He's just got his license from 1920 something haha

Yeah i heard that the Kiwi Rider guys are really good and no, no offence taken!

should look into hondasure as well

my 15 year old brother has his hornet insured for 5k with 550 excess and less than that for the premium, plus the bike is insured for any licenced rider (like myself) to ride

Be careful. That's an old trick that insurers are wise to.
