Thread: Parking ticket - North Shore Hospital

    To be honest I myself had no idea wardens could put a ticket on your bike like that. And everyone parks their bike on a sidewalk if no parking is avialable anyway, I've seen parking wardens walk past or just look at the bikes and carry on as long as they're no blocking the footpath.

    And while on ticketing is it possible for police to fine you if you set off a speed camera that's in front of you? I'm assuming since you have no number plate on front of your bike then they cant issue the fine as they can't track you.

    In Australia, private shopping centres deal with badly parked cages by sticking a huge sticker on the drivers window. The sticker is difficult to get off and generally carries a message along the lines of:

    "Thank-you for shopping at XXXX.

    On your next visit, please make sure to use one of our clearly marked car-parks."

    At least they're polite. Unlike this (can be stuck on with glue).
