    Hot Ducati

    *Taken from another website..

This happened to a guy a couple of days ago on his 999.

"Travelling home on my 2003 999BP I was stopped by a fellow motorist. He duly informed me that my bike was on fire!

I stopped and got off and discovered that the whole rear end of the bike was actually on fire!

I have no idea what caused the fire. The insurance assessor said it was not electrical so I can only assume fuel vapour!

Basically, the bike needs a new rear subframe, plastics, pillion seat, silencer, heat shield, carbon exhaust cover, indicators, rear brake light, wiring, rear tyre, pillion seat lock etc."

    Caption time anyone??

A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.
Sometimes , The struggle kills the dream.

They catch on fire when you ride them too slow.
