Rob gets my vote for Helpful Guy of the Year!

I've had no end of trouble with other places, but at Holeshot (and with Rob in particular) I get excellent service & helpful advice.

Is Rob the youngish guy with the massive beard?

He seemed like a decent guy to me, then again, they did give me a 650 Thumper cruiser when I dropped off my Striple for it's service. Maybe he just doesn't like me.

My experiences with Holeshot have always been good.

Two months to complete an insurance assessment does seem excessive, though.

An interesting choice of rebuttal to renegade master there too, MBB.

Whilst this is correct, I wouldn't have expected you to be such a square as to assume that it was exclusive.

Bought a new Volty from Holeshot a couple of years ago.

It had a dodgy carb and they didn't want to know about it. Wouldn't even book it in for warranty servicing.

I don't know if they're still a bunch of fuckwits, but I'm more than happy to go elsewhere.

I won't be going back either, bought a new $16k bike off them a year ago and am still waiting to get a part they said they would deliver on that was missing off the bike from new.

Bought hot grips off them that were supposed to be fitted by them when i picked up the bike. then wern't and eventually went and got & fitted myself because they couldn't be f****d

They like many bike shops don't know what customer service is!

I got $9K for it on trademe. Jamie suggested I sell it privately then go back and see them. Well, if I sell the bike privately, I will spent my money elsewhere, which I did. I think a saleman should be able to close a deal, any deal!!
I picked up the scoot this morning, no one said a word to me, they just sort of looked in my general direction. If it had of been my business, I'd have to wanted to chat about things (but hey, what would I know?).

I walked in there last summer, with the difference in cash between what I thought a reasonable price for scoot would be, against the price of a new 750. I had the wad of cash in my pocket, it looked like a brick against my side. After some discussion, they wanted to give me less than I would have thought possible against what I thought they'd sell her for. The price was confirmed when I saw a similar thou (with 15,000k more mileage) for sale for $1,000 more than I thought they'd retail it for... I rode away with cash in pocket, and instead MadBikeBabe has a nicer car.

Always the way, just hard to guage how certain stores approach any given prospective customer - everyone has different experiences that counters the experiences of others ...

But MBB knows what he has gone through in his current experience. And it doesn't take much to hack off a discerning biker with plenty of coin in their pockets to take it somewhere else that wants it!

I've fortunately never had an unpleasant experience yet ... maybe its the asian ninja discrimination thing - "ooh asian dude, must have pingers"

To each their own and to their own they owe nothing!

I think MBB's sensitive new-age side is coming through and they are not valuing his visionary approach to being a biker!

Probably because they know you've slagged them off on here... Their way of telling you to get fucked without actually having to say it?

Okay, again, I haven't slagged them off, I've stuck to fact and opinion. No where have I slagged, and in fact, I've said good things about their sales guys.

They should have the balls to say it out loud, but it'd be ironic given how hard they haven't tried to do the correct thing (i.e. get my bike fixed and work with the assessor in a professional and diligent way).

    Point taken...

They will probably see it as slagging off though. It's public name and shame and bad publicity... Call it what you will, it's still not good for them.

At least if they have seen it, you can only hope they realise that they do suck and take action to improve their image and customer service...

Yep. Good guy. Always giving me crap about going to KTM and not another Triumph! (Nothing to do with their service, just the bike I wanted).
