Should be able to fit a bit of gear in it, just probly not as fast and nimble as the smurf

That's a bugger XF though if I recall correctly it was always a possibility. I'm still hearing rumours of people being keen for a Waitangi weekend run if that is of interest?

You sure that is a good idea. I'm sure I remember photos from last year that would suggest Smurf was getting a good thrashing Good to see that something is getting sorted though.

Just starting to get a bit revved up now about the DB1k. Have even been on my diddy lathe turning up some proper fastenings for my rack... which prompted me to think about a few things....my wr has the carrying capacity of the average pocket so do i need to carry a 5 litre petrol can, tank range is around 220kms. Next thought turned to the over night stay at the rowing club house. Do the beds there have any mattresses/sheets etc or are we to bring all that stuff with us. The petrol can is the lesser of the two issues but if i can get away with not taking either!!

    Cheers Tony.

As far as the accom goes everything is there as far as plates cutlery, pots etc. There are bunk rooms with mattresses & showers etc. You will have to bring soap, a towel etc.

I will get all info & post later on. It's getting closer

OK the lowdown with the Rowing club lodge at Lake Rotoiti.

    It has 5 bunkrooms:

3 rms with 6 bunks (3 high so the top ones aren't used unless necessary)

2 rms with a double bed & single

The padmei palace mahahahaha with double bed. (only so you guys don't hear the snoring)

2 pull out sofa beds in the lounge rm.

All you need to bring is food, toiletries, sleeping bags, towels, toilet paper & a rubbish bag. All the pots pans plates ,microwave,2 ovens, 2 fridges are there.

We should be able to sort out a courier or sumting to drop stuff off like bottles, etc.

Nordie are you bringing the sheet for the slide show?

Just to let everyone know that I could only upload the 50 point version of the Dusty GPS route to my Garman 550. If there is a way to get the 250 point version to work then I would be keen to know as I'm pretty good at getting lost!

That's the one I'm using on the DR rear end.
On the DR it needed good break in before it settled down, now it's great.

Garmin Zumo, after the install the advroutes site seemed to invade my mapsource...

Just been out there trying to fit new sprockets but I have been supplied with totally different specked ones

HAS THE PAPER ROUTE CHANGED MUCH FROM LAST YEAR? I still have the old one in my box and it would save my printer cartridge if I didnt have to change it.
