    297kph with no gear on!

i took the gixxer for a run today, the jog has been my to work and back weapon after working 70 hour weeks.
i took the gixxer for a thrash, found the front only had 20psi in it, put both tires up to 40psi, and it handled like its on rails again!

took it to a local stretch of road, did some nice corners and wheelies, and i was reminded what a great bike the GSXR1000 is.

wearing a hooded jacket, a pair of jeans, some race boots, and my new XR1000 (very good) and a pair of revit gloves, i took the gixxer up to a indicated speed of 297kph, it took me 3 runs to get there, the bike had the front wheel up for the first 3 gears.

    how did it feel?

like nothing really, just numbers on a dial.

With the known accuracy of Suzuki speedo's, 110 km/hr is probably all you got to... and three go's to get there...

but that will affect the aerodynamics, the extra inch cause the front wheel to "come up"

When you crack 300 with no pants on , let us know. Or, at any rate , let Maurice know, he'll be right behind you and gaining.
