Ha!!
Gixxers rule!
Dunno how you did it in a hoodie... had mine up to 290 (still accelerating at that point) with all the leather gear on, and anything loose or flopping about would have got torn off at that speed.
Let the good times roll
200 kph is fast enough, lets put this in perspective, you're covering a mile every 30 seconds. Try walking a mile, it puts it into a frame of reference of how far a mile actually is. Plus, you're on a naked bike, 200 on a naked feels faster than 300 on a faired bike.
200 is the top of third gear on a thou. Next time someone tells you that a thou is too slow for them, putting this in perspective - a thou is still pulling at 200kph like a motherfucker, as you change into 4th on mine, chin on the tank, the front starts to rise (I'm heavy), and it's charging harder than any car I've ever ridden in between 0-60. Then into fifth in less time than it took to read this sentence. Then it's a longer wind out as horsepower finally starts meeting its match with air resistance. The only thing that I've ever ridden that is noticibly faster is a Turbo Busa, and the difference is in fifth and sixth, they still pull like my thou does in 2nd and 3rd. But my slow old bus, it'll still pull close on 300 in less than a mile of actual space from a standing start.
Putting this in perspective, this is why I believe that Noobs are ill suited to larger displacement bikes.
And it's also why I think Carver should find another hobby, maybe playing with dirt bikes or something. But, on reflection, he spends a lot of time playing with himself...

It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
