near ready for bucket raceing,or just a padock, beach hack.
gotta be a good deal,surely
Without being paranoid I would be a bit vigilant about security around home for a while. Dodgy pricks
Yep, double that. I'll wager that they'll be back for another "look" while you're not around. Their behaviour speaks pretty much for itself e.g. no helmet, no licence.....(cough cough). Unfortunately suggestions to inform the police probably will be met with minimal interest as nothing actually happened to you or your bike. Sad, but the police often seem to be too busy to take information like this on board for future reference.
call me old fashioned or paranoid but if someone wants to buy a bike he'll have the cash so id just tell em to palm me the cash and ill hold it while he test rides and if he dont come back sweet as, if he does i'll give it back !
If they dont like it i aint gonna let him ride !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
it was me, i wanted to make a new video!
I've always taken my cages to prospective test drivers. Either their place or somewhere neutral so there's no chance of my place being cased.
Gas stations are always good so you have their rego on camera
Call me paranoid but I hate random people coming to my house. Having seen the Trademe forums I'm even more sure of that now.
even though the bike is now sold & gone, description is the guy's a Wigger & his mate (didnt see him too well) was driving a dark grey old style skyline.
a sticker on the fairing of a GSX doesnt make it a Katana
So someone would go to buy a bike without a wallet with some money in it?? Yep you did the right thing....now make sure its secured well.!!!!
Well done whoosh you did everything right with making sure your bike wasn't going to be stolen and it always pays to stand your ground when low life idiots think that they can come onto your property and try pulling the wool over your eyes. You would probably find that the vehicle they were in was stolen. Like you said if the were genuine guys they would have had their own helmet plus his licence on him. Its so hard these days to put trust into people you dont know but protecting your property is the most important thing. Make sure that if anyone is going to take your bike out for a test ride that you go with them. Trust no one.
Probably wanna make sure your bike is locked up nice and safe in case they come back too.
