Ban them. Or not. I have never owned one myself. Would rather spend my money on a good GPS system.

I would rather they banned cellphones.

Dam good point, cant believe the amount of people i see driving and texting at the same time, thats gonna kill more than speed
They should put the speed limit for motor cycles up to 120 kph then most of us wont need radar detectors, but that opens it up for the guys with small peni to go even faster.

Whatever your view, there is a poll there, where you can vote. I'd suggest you at least vote to show the media and Government what you think.

My view is that, as the Police say, they still catch people with detectors, - so why not leave the status quo, and give Professional Drivers a fair go.

    Vote or don't post!
I don't use one but I voted "NO" on principle, bloody fascist rule makers. (Ban this, ban that, yady yady yah!)

The real target is individual freedom.

They catch people with cell phones too but they don't worry about that! John.

I was recently priviledged to observe a scooter rider texting whilst lane splitting rush hour traffic. Try doing that on a motorbike. Skill like that deserves its own special form of recognition.

I always keep plenty of distance from the car in front of me, never change lanes without putting the phone down and I can text without even looking at the screen.
It really is safe as long as you don't do it like an idiot.

It takes as much of your attention as talking to your passenger, glancing at your gps or adjusting your stereo.
For me at least. I can understand why other people may be incapable.

Texting is done without looking at the screen, it uses your free hand that you aren't using while driving.
