I can see how it can be challenging for someone who has never ridden, to empathise with the four blokes in the film.
It may have been easier for her if the film talked more about the bikes/preparation/riders, on the assumption that its audience are not necessarily going to be experienced riders, and that they would probably not appreciate the journey nearly so much as a result.
Just watched it-only one in the cinema. Great to see anyone can do this stuff on the cheap. Really impressive repair skills by SA farmer and Egyptian backstreet mechanics-they would have been stuffed otherwise. Also agree a bit more info about the prep/planning/problems etc would have helped. Found it somewhat irritating they kept talking shit over the informative interviews with the bikers.
