wooow... you might want to back that up before you put the dirt division down...you got a perfect reply and so i guess no one else needed to say anything...being a newbie myself ive got more help from guys on here than people ive known for years.. so hey, keep the touchy roadrider feelings for the on road section as the answers here come concise with full of information and not with a bunch of flowers ....![]()
I won't be going to this one, will be going down to Thunder with the family and meeting up with LittleJohn on the way. Will miss the Barty at Party's (someone push Cheese in the pool please!) Have fuuunnnn![]()
Oh hey hey ! There are people on heresomething along the lines of oh don't worry were all in a group, if your bike doesnt start or you get bogged down and cant move the damn thing someone will help ya. Its just a bit re assuring at the end of the day when your alone in the unknown. I suppose you all would help if something like that happened.
Love the no flowers bit too ! Very apt. I will have to see you all next time. Im about so suit up. God I love motorbikes.![]()

What did you want help with?
-Umm... Can a nub come too? suitable for learner dirt rider? Were you asking for help with that question? Maybe you should PM billaroo - or get in touch with WMCC, cos it looked to me like you were asking permission to attend rather than asking for help. We are obviously friendly here - most of us are running our own business' which depends a lot on being friendly believe me.I hope this doesn't deter you from asking/posting questions on here - most of the members have a wealth of knowledge about riding and repairing/maintainence issues. And we welcome new members - the more of us there are -the more the chance of getting the answer we were looking for.
Best of Luck.
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.
Oh adn the reason I was initially going to post was to say top ride today. Loved it.
Well in all fairness this wasn't a ride for any noob, it was hard
We got half way round on the first loop and then my bike fouled its first ever plug (from following dad) in the farthest possible place form the carpark
And as an unbiased view, cheese was there, and going on the fact that he told me about the track I can only assume that he was riding too!!
Nice to meet you cheese, no real names ?
Hopefully I can talk dad into going back to riverhead, unlikely
I really liked it tho, really hard and technical, suits my riding
So whens the next possible kb meet?
Feb 1st MR cycles ride?
we may just go where no ones been
YamahaR64Life if you go on pretty much any trail ride if you get in to trouble you will have no shortage of people stoping to help and offer advice or just stoping have a chat if you stop for a rest
"The world is a strange sad place. Ride as often as possible and try not to think about it".
Was a good technical ride, that club certainly likes its over grown single track but it's not really suitable for the masses.
i would recommend that if you haven't ridden out there you go some time soon while its still dry, because once it gets damp it will be a nightmare for most.
Yeah poor old Rupe was knackered on that last lap.
Noobi - my real name is Stephen.
Yeah Riverhead is no place for beginners. Apparently 150 riders came. After my fisrt lap, I noticed about 1/3 went home.
Did 3 laps in the end. Was keen for more, but spent so much time waiting for Aaron and Rupe........
How big was the loop? Twilight ride last friday I went on was pretty short seemed like 10km.
