I can ride one handed quite proficiantly (its a bad habit I know)

but I cant txt left handed, nor can I txt through gloves...

however, I have once seen a friend set the bike up on a straight road, pull off his gloves, pull out phone, read and send a txt, put the phone away, pull on gloves all without touching the throttle once, no cruise control or unsprung throttle.

I've heard of people eating cheeseburgers and drinking milkshakes while riding, but texting?

    Stupid.
What you have in your heart will be revealed through what you have in your life.

If things are going badly in our circumstances, the answer to what is happening to us outwardly is more often than not found in the mirror.

I find txting pretty ez when riding, but finding a place for my beer is freeking hard work! If you put it on the bike it gets vibrated and turned to froth!
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

I've seen people smoking cigarettes and riding but never texting.

I must admit when I was younger I took photos while riding, I was trying to record the top speed of my 250 for my mates.

Realize this is an old thread, but I see it's been necromanced up from the dark grave of disused bits it has been buried in anyway.

I'm always concerned when I see somebody doing something other than concentrating on the task at hand. Driving / riding is dangerous enough as it is and the moment you take on a different tasks your concentration is split.

< 100% concentration on the road? I try not to do it if I can help it, pulling over for texting / phone calls seems much safer.

I was wondering if that was possible :laughs: I always thought the wind would cause problems, but I guess there has to be a reason for a pot helm.

here in chch we have a talented hobo who i have seen around the place for at least 10 years and she can very proficiently cycle one handed through the city while the other hand is holding her bag of paint while she happily huffs away at it

I saw that once, years ago. Some Filthy Few riders got cleaned up by a guy in a ute. A fews days laters, I saw two of them on a bike, both with their left leg in plaster, and the pillion holding the crutches.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
