C'mon Trace, I can see you becoming one of us ... one of us ... one of us ...

But yet you followed Gremlin to parts unknown ... you say one thing, but your riding says another!

And 'sides being a suzuki rider, you know you should really have two more spare as back up!

yet i thought it was just another 20 km through goat track and back to motorway.... how the hell was i to know we were going to end up well off the beaten path... if i had thought about it, i may have thought twice due to the fact we were following Gremlin, but i didn't, i followed blindly like a sheep. that will teach me!

as i said, im not worried about gravel as such... use to go through fine on my two fiddy... now i just feel sorry for the fairings on my beautiful, stealth bike!

You don't need knobblies unless you're doing beaches etc... gravel is just fine on dual purpose tyres, and the bike should still be good for sealed roads.

    Thumbs up

Well Only rode to work and back today but yesterday was a pretty sweet day...

Got up early at 8:30 and seeing that I couldnt sleep no more dedicated myself to going down to paeroa and check the plce where the races will be.

On the way down , stopped at Bp autobahn and saw a giant Muscle car...see pics...

also on the way to paeroa I got to the newly built SH2 connection wich was very straight and boring...so decided to take a side road and what do you knwo - found 15 km of unknown twisties with spectacular views

went down to paeroa and found out the best place to wath the races ...

After I had a lookie at paeroa started doing the coro loop. Cought up to some bikers, did a part of the loop wth them. Stopped at the crosses of LooseBruce and DSS as it is traditional on a coro loop to be done. Got rained on alottle bit but was cool. nice roads , no cagers - primo. Whole coro for myself.

Pretty good fun - hadnt done coro in a while. Saw a few smurfs but as I was behaving I had nothing to worry about

Got in time to do the ATNR with the big boys and even tho I almost screwed one corner I had fun wif them.

after the ATNR met with GIJOE and the film crew and listened some interesting ideas about a future TV programe for bikers and afterwords I led the camo ninja trough some local roads.

We ended up in a bar place in ponsonby sipping to ginger beer and relaxing ...nice day all in all
