Same rules as cars. Ask Mr GiJoe, he had one or othe rof his bikes blinged out with neons at one stage. I think he's grown out of it now.

    A Grey area.

Definately nothing red at the front or sides. Nothing white at the rear (apart from a plate light).

Nothing flashing - I asked about this a while back as I spied some cool plug leads that had LED lights fitted in them and they flashed in time with the plug

I think a light pointing at the ground would be cool - it would look like the bikes was floating along.

Avoid using the air cap lights - they have a habit of not only ruining your wheel balance but can also deflate the tire at high speed. Not much to worry about on a 250 but worth considering.

...usual stuff regarding colours though - no red lights facing forward, white backwards etc etc. All in the road code! Oh and I believe you must not be able to actually 'see' the bulb/tube.. only the light given off by it can be visible.

Nighthawk's bike looked pretty damn cool with the neon on .. & made an excellent beacon to get back to the tents when at the March Hare last yr 3/4 drunk ..

was not overkill just neat dark blue glow ...

When it comes to accessories, my rule of thimb has always been that if 14 year old boys think it's awesome then not to bother. See also: neon casemods for a desktop PC, Warhammer and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Thanks for the replies. And all i really want is a glow on the bottom that I can turn on or off. Bit faggy to have on all the time, but every now and again to flick them on would be pretty sweet.

Got a black bike, so on a blue glow would flow pretty mean. agreed?
