Vodafone have a few issues that need sorting out. Late last year I was working on a job closing down a company due to a merger. The mobile phones went with the staff to the new company and we onbilled them for the costs until we got to transferring them. Working independantly meant I did not have a regular authoriser for any bill payments that needed making.
We missed a month (biggish bill of a bit over $1K) No problem, when the next account came in (now around $2.3K mark) I loaded up a payment and it got paid. Another month went by and I got a bill showing the overdue amount, I ignored it as it had been paid. I went away for a couple of weeks, then got a call from the new company saying Vodafone had cut the service as the account had not been paid and they had had to pay almost $3K to get the service back, I needed to reimburse them. Hmmm, weird I have paid, so I ring Vodafone. What a friggen joke, they have no record of my payment, I have my bank statement to prove I paid, they will look into it.
A few days later I had heard nothing so I rang again, they had done nothing to find the money as I had not provided enough information! Right so I provide the information and wait. A week goes by, I hear nothing so ring again. Oh yes, we have found it now and it is on your account, you now have a credit balance of $1100. Cool says me, I will have that back thanks. No we dont refund, you will use the balance anyway. Well see no we wont as we are closing the account. Oh well no problem, it will take about 10 working days to get a refund sorted. No, says me, you have had that money for 2 months, you have cut services and demanded payment for an account that was already paid, I want the money back now thanks.
I gave up in the end. Finally found a business consultant that had half a brain to sort it for me, he tells me that the accounts department is understaffed, they have temps that have no idea what they are doing and this sort of problem was happening all the time. Crazyness!

What I guess gets peoples backs up is when they have something successful (over 1.9 million post), and some self richeous little person comes on and within a few post starts telling people whats wrong in their opinion - and why it should be more like their forum.
We should all do the same - log into the vodafone website and the first person who can post a thread** with the any of the following words: cunt, wankstain, moose knuckle, or pussy flaps gets green bling from every person reading this thread.

A friend of mine lost her sim card but didn't report it as she thought she had just misplaced it around home somewhere. A few days later she was contacted by Vodafone notifying her that there was unusually high usage on her card. Someone had found it and ran up a couple of thousand dollars on it!
She took it on the chin as it was her mistake for not reporting it missing and agreed to pay the full amount come the next monthly bill.
She was horrified however to discover a couple of days later when her eftpos card started declining, that Vodafone had automatically taken the money from her bank account without permission/knowledge before they even sent the bill out.!
She was fuming and vowed never to have anything to do with those Vodafone arseholes ever again.
I wouldn't be surprised if their delaying tactic is deliberate so someone can run up a big bill on your card that they can charge you for. They must make hundreds of thousands extra through such things.
