Hi, that's a fabulous rebuild. What else have you done?
You know that you're already looking around for another project![]()

I'm livin' the dream.
Thanks toycollector10,
fully rebuilt a 1981 Yamaha TT500H (when I say rebuilt I mean it, no Jewish over haul paint and grease or painted with a spray can.", rebuilt a 1964 Massey Ferguson 35 tractor from the ground up.
Nearly took on a International TD14a bulldozer (D5-6) only 15000 of them made world wide, came to my senses on that one, sold it before it was to late. My next task is a 1980 Yamaha TT500G its sitting in the corner of my garage at the moment have got all the NOS parts for it fenders, sidecovers, speedo and lighting kit etc etc.
Thats really nice and a credit to you!
What finish did you use on the exhaust? I find it tricky getting those satin finishes looking 'right'...
Try this paint, you can spill petrol on it etc etc and she won't budge and she cures up nicely with a bit of heat.
$80 a Litre though.

Thanks for the thumps up on the bike.
Thats really purty.
If i sent you my GS1100 could you do a similar job on it?
I hope you keep the it somewhere very safe, there's lowlifes all around who'd steal that and have it stripped before you knew it was gone.
Post the pics here http://advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=35 as well
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

those photos is bringing me the fuzzies-remembering when I first saw them. Two of em wheelstanding toward me, their sumpgaurds catching the afternoon sun. It was on the temple view straight just out of hamilton.

pete37640 thanks for that link, shall do. I know it worries the f**k out of me someone steeling my families possessions. They are insured but I prefer to have the bikes then the money because I just won't be able to replace them again.

dam nice job on the rebuild...
