In general, a lane resrved for vehicles carrying several people. Also allowed to be used by trucks (God knows why) and motorbikes . There are various grades, T2 (must have two people), T3 (duh) and so on. Probably from 'mass' transit.

They were devised to try and ease traffic congestion and allow specific vehicles only or vehicles with two/three or more people in them, the rules vary. I'm sure you could find the details on the LTNZ site, Google it to bits, you'll get there.

    Wow, awesome result!

Congratulations Ixion - Blardy good result.

Seems like the Cop is taking a 'real world' approach here - good on him too.

It IS so easy to sit on ones arse and throw shit. It takes a DOER to say "Hey WTF, lets sort this"

    Well done DOER!

NEVER, ever watch the hang-gliders and para-penters when riding your scoot up that road, it'll change the colour of you Y-fronts fairly smartly....

It was my first time over that hill so I wasn't watching anything but the road until I stopped to check out the views. Did that several times actually. We did manage to take in quite a few sights, Benmore's a helluva toy isn't it?
