    Finally, honesty!

We have three here I can tootle around on. An 07 1200 Sporty (the missus') a 96 T-bird (her brother's) and mine. And every time I go into the shed I wander over to the Dubya-G, even it's just for a hug.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. He should be hung, drawn and quartered.

    Whats the story on this...
OK I can't resist. I had a cop hurt himself once by following too close. Well kind of.

I was pulled over when driving a mates Bambina. The cop pulled me over for overtaking another car and asked me" Do you think that was dangerous."

I said "well I had a 100M visibility throughout the maneouver".

He said "you took a long time to pull over"

and I said "I was waiting for a safe place to do it."

He said " I don't think your brakes work"

    I said "yeah they're OK"

He said "OK get your friends out of the car and I will push it and when I tell you to I want you to hit the brake pedal"

I looked at him incredulously but he was serious. My brother and friend got out of the car and cop proceeded to push it. I turned aound to watch him thru the back window and he said "now"

I hit the brake pedal and it went straight to the floor. I was a bit suprised as they had worked perfectly a minute ago. I then looked at my feet and realised I had pushed the throttle pedal. Realising my mistake I then hit the brake pedal hard.

I heard a loud crack and whipped my head around just in time to see the cops face sliding off the side of the back window. He must have relaxed when he thought the brakes wern't working and then when I hit the brakes shinned himself on the rear bumper before smacking the windscreen. It must have looked pretty funny but it must have hurt like hell.

I stopped and got out and stammed my mistake. He looked at my face and new I was telling the truth

......and then the laughter started and we both turned around to see my brother and mate doubled up in the middle of the road and he just knew I had done it on purpose.

He looked at my terrified face again and knew I was telling the truth..then he looked back at them and new I was lying.

This yoyo went of for a few minutes and then he told me drive on carefully.

I can't possibly expect anyone to believe this is unless the cop in Silverdale that this happened to 25 years ago reads this and confirms it.

I would love to buy him a beer and enjoy a laugh with him over it. I know that Officer Cramwell (not sure of the spelling) worked up there at the time buy I don't know if it was him or not.

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

    ..

Don't forget the drawing and quartering. That's important. Not gonna let him get away with just hanging.

he doesn't draw, he is drawn.

"The sentence of this court is that you be taken from the gaol wherein you are confined to a public place of execution. And that there you be hanged by the neck, but cut down before quite dead. And that your entrails and privy parts be drawn out and burned before your eyes. And that you be then divided into four parts , and they publicly displayed , to the better edification of men" And may God have mercy on your soul".

Yes, they were chopped in four while still alive sometimes.

Ah , judges knew how to deal with things back then.

..rather than just bailled (to reoffend) like what happens now..
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

True. But on the other hand, the penalty for speeding back then was a public flogging.
