If anyone wants to straight swap their SV for my GSF, just give me a PM.

Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

These days there's too many slippery weasel-type fuckers infesting the country. They think that rogueing and ripping other people is an acceptable part of life. If they've got something to sell, they'll cynically try to fuck-over any bastard they can - if they can get away with it. It's all snake eat fucken snake. Look at the multitudes of greedy wankers on trade-me, all tryin'to rook-off old shitty fucken H1's, Z900's, XS650's, Rd350's, CB's, etc... for thousands and thousands. They sit there for fucken months clogging up the fucking system. Wankers wanting $350 for a spare wheel with no discs or sprocket. Prat-heads asking $750 for a pair of spare fucken forks with no triple-clamps. Yuppie fucktards wanting $450 for a pair of used discs. Self-important fuckers wanting $200 for a used fucken tyre. Plus postage. And so it goes on. I've had it with these motherfucking rip-offs on motherfucking trade-me. When are all these arseholes gonna join the real world. You browse trade me for good buys and bargains - not sneaky over-priced bullshit

Had a couple of good bikes on there for months, bugger all response.
So I think that it is time to TRADE not sell.
Instead of selling i will TRADE that seems to be the way around this recession TRADING not selling... Im happy with that.
I have entered the words trade and swap in my ad, and have got a few offers of trade but nothin yet to suit me.
Any one have any others good ideas , apart from giving them away, which I wont do, not that hard up ...yet!!
This time last year it took about 7 days to sell a bike, now about 7 months.
I don't know what the sports bike section looks like or the others.. but cruisers sit on Trademe for over a year at times, just to sell. Not everyone has a few thousand sitting around to buy privately.

The bastards I'm working for had the cheek to ask me to come in at 9. I told them that would be quite disruptive as at that time I'm usually settling down to watch a little TV after my dinner. They tried to tell me there's a 9 in the morning too! When the hell did that happen? Investigations into that continue...

Also had casing damage that wasn't listed which I asked a question about prior to hitting Buy Now. Got my money back on scrap thank goodness and have a few internal bits n bobs I can use.

Anyway, what fucking recession? This week I got asked if I could do more hours, not less. How come I'm not going to get to work only 9 out of 10 'working days'? What did I do to deserve such cruel treatment?
Personally, I'd be rather chuffed to only work a 12 day fortnight.

Seems that there is alot of crap bikes out there, on trade me.
If they are cheap then, then there is a generally a reason.
You can easily pay $2,000 for a bike only to find, the forks a leaking a bit
the chain probably needs replacing, the linkages and bit and pieces are all sloppy and loose, small oil leaks around motor seal etc etc this means you can
easily spend an extra $1000 bringing back to "good condition", which it was originally described as on trade me.
Mind you, some people have no idea that things are wrong with there bikes to start with so they call them good condition in ignorance.
Be careful what you spend your hard earned cash on.

I love crap bikes. You usually loose very little on resale. A buyer who doesn't try before purchase is asking for trouble. Cash in hand gives you bargining power. The odd seal leak isn't really too big an issue if you're capable of sorting it out yourself.

Dude, take a chill pill. Have a beer or something.

Remember: idiots on tardme who want outlandish prices make your listings (good condition, reasonable price) so much more attractive.

Amen to that. I've bought and sold a few bikes on tardme. I got done like a dinner once, got a good buy another time, and got what I expected another time.. One unknown quantity but I paid accordingly. Fun and games. Never ever ever ever ever buy something without looking at it first and taking it for a spin. (unless its a Vincent or Indian Chief basket case.....)
