    not to bad at all,
but that headlight should be moved back closer to the forks and attach the clocks to the top yoke or the forks, not the headlight,

i would also cut down that front mudguard, (just for cosmetic reasons)
it looks like its off a busa

other than that she looks good, i like my fighters, i hope it keeps evolving

Wonder where you can source some new dials from.

It's only a temporary job. The bends where done with a large crescent and brute force against a tie down point on the trailer. It's rough, but it's actually prett strong. Both the headlight and the gauges mount off of the fork clamps, with 2mm ally flat bar and heavy duty stainless bolts.

The plastic repairs were done by "The Plastic Repair Company" in Archers Road, Glenfield. Highly recommended, The Stranger was 'fucken amazed' when he saw them (his words).

sweet, ali plate is what i used on my zxr, the only problem being that after a while it breaks, must be all the bunps ect slowly weakening it
eventually i went to stainless and never had any more problems... except for bending and cutting it in the first place

With some luck it'll be all done and dusted and back to standard by next weekend so that hopefully won't be a problem!

Have attached pics of how she looks, and also one of me licking some nut meat. Enjoy!
She looks even better in the flesh. Apart from the subframe just chillin out down there, and the lack of backing to the clocks, it looks like it's supposed to be like that!
So happy to see you back on the road, the massive smile before we'd even made it out of traffic heading to the real roads said it all!
Will have to show ya the awesome roads out there sometime.. and show you where the turnoff is on the way home

I tells ya, naked is where it's at.

    The suspension - Fook me!!!
Never ever experienced anything quite like it. No wonder so many noobs bin these things - and by that I mean any of the 250 Kawasaki's in their many guises. What's worse most probably blame themselves.
I have never ridden a bike before where I can bottom or top out the forks at will, even at 15kph. Just grab a handful of brake, you feel the forks bottom then the front wheel locks, simple.
Now it may work for a 50kg rider, but no salesman with a concience should ever sell one to a real person. They're just plain dangerous.

I'm becoming more and more of that opinion. How sad is it that I went into the garage this morning just to admire her? Need to have a sit down and a cold one with you and R6 at some point, have a proper think about where we go from here. She does look awesome though!

My shocks were extremely soft when I first got my bike, added more fluid and it was infinitely better.

Ahh the naked world of biking! Reminds me of that ol'song "Welcome to my world"

Big ups to the guys who helped out and it's great to see bikers helping bikers ... something positive!

R6 Kid and the stranger, I really cannot thank you boys enough. I reckon it looks much better "street fightered" than it did before!
Bring it along to the Wed NASS, so we can check it IRL.
It's got that cool looking frame, what a shame to hide that under plastic fairings.
Also, those little LED front indicators are stylie.

Cheers bro! They have springs for a 94 ZZR600 but not a 250. Might drop 'em a line.

Flatterer. Sadly I look better with clothes on, in fact the burqa is my ultimate style accessory!

Hell yes, I still can't quite believe that the guys went to such an effort for me, and all the people that offered assistance too I've only been in NZ 6 weeks and already I've seen more friendliness and helpfulness than years in the UK...

Cheers mate Will be bringing her out for sure, now I've got her back I want to spend all my time riding (ahem). My current thinkings is to keep fairings somewhere safe, and get her some better clocks and sort out the sub frame. It really has been a surprise just how good the bike looks now, I keep poking my head into the garage to have a look at her
