I just cancelled the claim, got R6 kid to pick it up from the garage. Wasn't worth the hassle in the end!

Am wanting to take her out for a spin, if anybody fancies a trip out somewhere....

My life long decision to never have had a bike insured sounds better and better... Imagine all the extra $$'s I have had available for go fast bits and JD... Lets see: 40 years of biking X average 2 bikes in posession/year x $500/year per bike in insurance (OK, so that is low, but lets be fair, all have not been shit hot). That makes... $40K!!!

    Today is a good day!!!

Same goes for me. Some people claim insurance is peace of mind... to which I say Bollocks!. It gives me absolutely no peace of mind whatsoever wondering if I crash whether the insurance company will find some irrelevant information to weasel out of paying or attempt to dick me over on pre-accident value despite me forking over cash to them for many years. Fuck that shit.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

If you are willing to take the panels off yourself, those boys at The Plastic Repair Company don't charge much to smooth and spray panels. May be worth getting a quote.

The bike looks good - reminds me of my old spada actually good that you got it back on the road - would seem to that it might be better now than it was before with all the assistance from others kicking in to tidy things up. Enjoy

NASS is a bit out of the way , perhaps when the East Akl boys do a ride again, they have been pretty slack lately and I've been working. The back of the clocks look like they need a little weather protection and perhaps a little beefing up of the supports but all together it looks pretty good.Do you mean the front or back subframe?Looks like you have removed the front subframe.

How east are you? And yeah, they're a bunch of slackers out this way for sure.

underside of the clocks does need waterproofing, but I think I'll see about getting some new ones anyway. Top front subframe is gone but there's still some bolted on under the grill, and that's going to go. I also need to sand and killrust the pipes, and she'll be looking awesome
