You're well ahead of me: rear wheel out, rear tyre off, shock out, spring off, shock linkage disassembed and bearings out; but I have got the bigger rear sprocket fitted. So all I have left to do is to fit the knobby rear tyre, install the bearings & seals in the shock linkages, install the shock, change the front tyre, adjust the fork pre-load and pull-through, re-fit the exhaust to fix a leak.

Yea , spent the day prepping the klr too. Fitted Dr footpegs and washed the bike in the Appleby river. (way more betterer than waterblasting)

I put another mirror on, another light on and changed the front wheel to the spare with more knobbles on it.

Went up to the head of the dam and the trye goes fine but I much prefer the MT21 on the hardpack. A decent amount of rubber on the surface compared.

Anyone who does a lap of a laidback on damp slippery grass with a front MT21 like this is in no need of hardening up
