No, that will never work unless you do the rice squeezings conversion, as recommended above by MBB.

I never thought of that sorry. I might have to use the pastrami method to be honest, I'm sorry I know it's extreme but what can I do?

It also delivers a delicious smell, and sounds like a four stroke whilst retaining the six stroke ability. Only problem is the wheels will have to be counter semi foward rotational gyro effect and they are made on the equator, hard to get balanced

The first thing to note is that in order to change your bike into a four stroke, you need to remove the spark plugs. You will need to visit Repco, and buy a left hand direction spark plug remover. Simply replace the spark plugs with 4 stroke spark plugs. You will need a right hand direction spark plug inserter. I suggest printing out this advice and taking it with you, the car guys can be a little slow to understand.

You will also need to turn the direction of the motor around, 180 degrees. This is due to the power on the 4 stroke engine running the opposite direction as mentioned before. Be careful, I know a guy who forgot this, and he ended up starting his bike, opening the throttle, and then flying over the handlebars as he couldn't hold the weight of his ape, and his own body weight as the bike rapidly moved backwards.

Now, in order to turn the motor 180 degrees, you will need to buy the spark plugs mentioned above, but also a new back wheel. Make sure it is made in the correct part of the world. It gets really confusing, and if you get the wheel wrong, the bike will either be really fast (wheel rotating in the same direction as the motor) or it won't move at all (wheel cancels out the motor).

The world of motorcycling can be very confusing with lots of poor advice, lucky you came to the right place first. WhiteTrash has a very high score beside his name, that's because he is all wise, and all knowing.

Finally, you will need a set of decent ape hanger handle bars as MsKaBC suggests, sportsbikes can be hard to handle, so you need to assure yourself that you've got all the right parts. I'd suggest going to see Tony at Haldane's, that's in Penrose, Auckland, and explain you need a set of ape hangers for your bike, and tell him you need the sort with a long weight.

It might take you some time for him to find the part number, but I assure you, they will be worth it. Valentino Rossi has a pair, look how fast he is.

    Kind regards, MadBikeBoy.

I have a set of GN250e handle bars if you feel the need to fit them to your bike

to make your nsr 250 into a four stroke first you must take the wheels off and throw them away, then do the same with the fairings, then the same with the swing arm and suspension bits and bobs, then take the engine out and pull that to part and poke at some of the bits, then buy a whole other nsr 250 preferable is a 2012 model, they have better stroke control.
you need to remove the bits because turning your bike into a four stroke will hurt those bits' feelings

then do the same with the new nsr as you did with your one, then take all the engine bits and put the engines back together and make one engine out of the two lots of engine bits. now you have a four stroked two stroke, make the brmmmm brmmmm noise good.
now wheels you need to find a 3 stroke 7 cylinder ducati and take the wheels off that bike because they have the proper reciprocating mass and centrifugal force required for NZ riding. they are found in large groups around spaghetti plants. otherwise your bike will go way to slow as 2 goes into 4 twice but in to 3 1.5 times so you will go 3 times as fast instead of 1/2 as fast if you used standard wheels

then for a fuel MBB has the right idea except that you must not use NZ long grain rice it must be official Honda long grain nitro-glycerin enriched white and some brown all natural rice
for suspension you must find some bamboo and use that for the forks and shocks, this is super springy and bestest for NZ riding conditions
for an exhaust you must get the special honda race team four stroke nsr exhaust and cut it exactly 5/11ths of the way down from the engine end and weld it onto you nsr's current exhaust, this gives real boooom and brrrmmmmm sound like you wanted

now my good friend you have a real 2007/2012 nsr501 four stroke model with proper NZ spec suspension and wheels

    happy
we may just go where no ones been
