Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.
'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.
Good on ya BB, glad to hear your still loyal to your X1 aswell.
YES - I still got mine and got me licence back now too......
NOTE: Do not overtake an undercover on double yellow lines.
( 6 months loss and $1200 in fines + $ 1200 work license ).
And for the others............. If you can ride in and around Auckland City traffic year after year without an incident - you can ride just about anywhere.
Go Hard BB - With your many years experience and accumulated miles....you could outride most of the posers on here anyway.
Agree with SpinFX here..since when did KB become a holier than thou self righteous bunch of nana wank spanners? I have never read such a lot of hand wringing angst BS in all my days get a life you lot.
And before the red reps start let me just ask one thing..who here has not hit a wing mirror or something when lane splitting or done something that might has caused a cager to get angry? the silence is deafening..whether it is roaring past with a straight pipe or the latest yoshimaki crappy loud pie, overtaking cars on blind corners, wheelies on the open road or generally riding like a fool, based on the stories posted here it seems the vast majority of riders (especially sports bike riders) have been guilty of something...or are these stories not fact? (Dear Penthouse you will not believe what happened to me.......)
So how about everyone take a chill pill and relax

True have only been here for about 18months I guess..but I have never seen such an over the top response to a writeup...that is becoming a real issue here I think..too many hand wringing, hoiler than thou posers.
As for taking a Buell for a spin....do it....I did and bought an XB12X Ulyssess..absolutely love it..does what I want it to do, at 100hp has enough power for me, handles well enough for me.
I am comfortable in myself to be able to say that buying a Japanese 1000cc bike would be a waste for me as I would never ride it the way it is meant to be ridden but the Buell is a different story..I really enjoy riding it every chance I get and that's how it is meant to be I think.

Having never met her, thats a bit harsh calling someone white trash dont you think? That would be like someone calling you a complete knobend just because you ride a BMW...harsh call I know as you might even be a reasonable person but you get the point I hope.......Your sort of comment is what this website is fast becoming though..a forum for hand wringing whiney poser hoiler than thou types who actually appear not to ride bikes but just talk about it............
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.

Well for what it's worth, I'd have thought that anyone who's been riding bikes for any length of time would have both the coordination and spatial awareness to avoid clipping wing mirror after wing mirror.
So whether unco or deliberate it's not something I'd make special mention of
