So long as he's in his own lane , it wouldn't worry me. Why should it? (Assuming that it looked intentional, and not an indication of a drunken driver - not a factor in the case cited by the OP) . Can't weave a car very much in a lane of course, and probbaly not so much fun either, but .

Yes, but you're hardly indicative of the general public.

Ok, my bad, I read it as weaving across each others lanes. Even so, it only takes one weaving pattern to meet with the other (like the overlaid sine waves which intersect at given points) for there to suddenly be dual splattage.

It isn't so much about a safety issue... more about looking like a couple of immature kids playing on the motorway.

It makes all motorcyclists look like retards. A bit like when motorcyclists wear their helmets into shops.

Umm having trouble seeing what their deal is. A pack of cyclists bunch up at an intersection. What do you want them to do? Hold it to the left so that a car can pass them at an intersection?? What if they want to turn right?... Retarded.

So what if a car loses a few seconds because they have to pass some cyclists with a bit of caution and due care. They have as many rights as you do sorry to say. And it's your duty to pass them carefully which isn't exactly difficult considering how skinny they are even two wide, and the fact that they usually go at about 30kph.

Get over yourself. Seems motorcyclists have the same superiority complex to bicycles that cars have to motorbikes.

I mostly ride solo. In fact I'm about to start an 800km cycle from SF to LA, starting on monday US time, so tuesday your time. Here's a link to the route going to attempt it in 5 days carrying a fair bit of weight though: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...1,9.887695&z=7

At that point, Professor Quirrel burst through the great dining hall doors, in a panicked and flusterred manner..

I agree and is why i posted that as a classic example.

And do you still think those motorcyclists were saying those things because they are jealous..??

"A. You look like you are retarded riding like that together.
    B. You are just helping all other motorists justify the "fucken idiot bikes" metality alot of them have, which is not a good thing.

Maybe if your on a racetrack and need to warm your tyres or something? But on the southern motorway, with other traffic around, you look like a fuckwit, to put it politely.

depends entirely on how its done. however the main advantage is actually the scrubbing action - vital if you ride with Shinko's or even to get the most out of Pirelli's. Since you such a desktop hero, try this test out - get an eraser, and roll it on the table top between the tabletop and your hand. You will notice that not only does the tyre lose its squareness and expose "the good rubber" is also slightly warms.

I read it plenty clear the first time.

One single motorist having a self-righteous whinge about two people having fun does not make any other motorists think "all motorcyclists look like retards" as you posited.

    I have many clues

I'm not aware of any bikers that go shopping at Farmers with their helmets on.

It would be pretty funny - those things have square tyres. Kinda like using the toaster to cook eggs
