And I'd agree with you if I'd stated Stoner has won the championship!

What I was/am pointing out is this...Stoner is faster than Rossi even though Rossi's bike is now faster than the Duke! So all the wingers that said Stoner was only faster than Rossi because of the dukes speed will now have to find a different excuse.

They may FINALLY have to conceed Stoner is the fastest man to come along in a LONG time! Just like Ben Spies.

    Mika kalio out performed hayden!
Yeah and gibby was faster too! In that particular session he was the fourth fastest duke. Although in the other sessions he was a bit better, around 1s off stoners pace in a much more creditable 6th or 7th. The biggest surprise for me was Melandri not being last, well within the top 10 in some of the timesheets.

Can you blame the bloke for being in a hurry to get home to the missus? He did set that time in the very last session, the kid was probably on his way out the gate....

I'm mearly stating that once again...Stoner is THE fastest cunt out there.

Putting it together for a season is a different kettle of fish I'm fully aware.

Yeah well the boots on the other foot now mate...THAT's the whole point of my post! Rossis bike would now appear faster than Stoners...yet Stoner is going quicker than Rossi. Did at Sepang and Qatar too.
As I said previously, Stoner is a flake and without his Mum in the pits he'll fold. Accept it and get over it Peter.

over a single lap stoners + duc = pretty well uncatchable. but it aint superpole. 30 plus odd laps to win a race, poles dont mean squat.

But testing don't mean shit. if theres one thing f1 is good for its showing that predicting form testing is a fools game. People are always trying different things at different times and 99% of people could care less what the time is come the end of the lap. People will play with corners and geometries, sprockets, gearings and frames to find what works where and figure out why. without watching the whole test lap by lap you dont have a clue whos got what. just cause a bikes fast in a straight line one time in the day doesn't mean its fastest, and dont mean it aint. just cause a guy bangs in a lap thats a whole second clear of the pack (or a whole second behind everyone) dont mean itll be its true pace, look back and spot where suzuki usually are during testing, then where they are come racing time

but till everyones gotta go ballistic at the same moment be careful bragging too much.

Oh that's right...the Ducati's electronics!! Well I would've thought that the Yamaha and the Suzuki's electronics must now be pretty good too. The top speeds of them is probably dictated by them be able to get on the gas good and early. Drive out of corners = good top speed!

You might all have to finally accept he's a true weapon eh??
Mmmm, Out on his own, cherry picking his lines, no one growling up his arse, just himself to concentrate on, take a rest every couple of laps etc etc yeah he's fast.
Strung a couple of 'fast' ones together myself way back when.
However stick a Dr on his arse with 1000's of eyes on him and a few other distractions and................well lets wait and see eh!

    How good's your memory too?

Fact: Rossi lost the '06' championship to Hayden falling in to the pressure. Binned it when he needn't have. Hayden deserved the title. Those of you that think Stoner is the only racer to succumb to pressure have shit memories.

Fact: Stoner crashed his brains out in '06' on a satelite Honda, but proved how fast he was.

Fact: Stoner won the title in '07' by miles on a bike that no one else could ride.

Fact: Stoner was more often than not faster than Rossi last year..but was beaten by one of THE greatest racers we've ever seen to the title. He was beaten by experience and old school cunning. No problem for a man of his age.

Fact: Stoner has once again proven that he can ride a motorcycle no other fucker can ride at a pace that no other fucker on any motorcyle can go.

    Any arguments so far?
