Last time I raced with Rossi he came up to me & asked how I got my RSVR to go so fast as I passed both him & Stoner along the back straight doing a wheelie , I told him , don't get to worryed about my lap times just yet dude as I haven't been signed up for a team yet

Just a tip... When you're trying to post something funny, you might want to make it a little more legible...

Ahhh...while I hear you there mate...you've gotta remember (surely) that Bayliss won on the Ducati while it was still 990cc's? Capirossi also won races (before Bayliss no less) on it in that guise.

Care to name anyone that's won a race on the thing (other than Stoner) in it's 800cc guise?

Another season is on us, and this is going to be another goodie.
    What about this guy?
    Will he feature?
Actually, I don't rate him as much as Stoner or Rossi, but it was the best pic I took last year....

Casey Stoner is the fastest racer in the world according to me - no doubt. The kid's got talent (and a not so hot missus) BUT... Valentino Rossi is just as fast around most circuits (0.2-0.5 seconds a lap slower perhaps) but he is bloody consistant. Whether he's got a broken brake lever or no shifter, whether he's up fornt or crashed and catching up to 13th place, the man does the same times lap in and lap out. Slow in fast out - slow in fast out. Stoner is just fast fast fast. Good for a 1000 meter sprint, less useful on a Grand Prix race.

Besides stoner's young inexperienced (so to speak) Rossis as we all know is a 7 time world champ. What about qualifying times you say? I think it's all a mind game. Rossi knows where he's good. Lets Stoner get a second quicker at qualifying without risking crashing and injuring himself. Watches stoner and then pushes him over the edge.

Stoner will be world champ one day. But, that day is not today.

Ummm...hate to break the news to you mate...but Stoner has already been world champ!

Can't remember if Freddie Spencer was younger as world champ or not.
