If we could get the VIN and license plate off, sure, that'd be awesome

That's about the third time this week someone's mentioned sticking a bike in the elevator. I bet my scooter could do it.

The standard challenge is up in the lift and down the fire stairs.

You get extra points for anyone who tries to get in the lift when it stops between floors and is frightened off by the sight and sound of a motorcycle on it rear wheel lunging at them. Double bonus if it's a professor.

Can you imagine the conversation when security comes a runnin tho? "Oh, sorry, didn't realise I wasn't allowed to bring my bike into the lift then try to ride it down the stairs, while revving at redline"

Meh. It's all in how you put it. This is an engineering department right? So :

"Well, we needed to take the motorcycle up to the upper floor lab to validate the aural spectrum analysis as a function of temperature. It was either the motorcycle or a pick up truck. The engine needs to be running to maintain a steady temperature. So I loaded it into the lift. Then someone told me bikes weren't allowed in the lift. I always try to follow the rules , so I said I'd take it back down the stairs. There's just no pleasing you guys is there ? I mean. there's only the lift and the stairs, right? So how am I supposed to get it down? Levitation? I can hardly leave it up there can I? I'm only trying to do my best to follow your rules, under very difficult circumstances, and your attitude is not helpful"

Hahah, I think a definite plan is formulating here. Are OGG lifts big enough?
