Id call that a fucking design flaw being able to start and operate a bike with the steering locked.

Mind you tractors dont turn much so I can see why the tech never trickled down to the motorcycle division.*joke*

    glad your alright.

You and Johann outghta hang out more man.

He jumped on his '85 750 back in the day, outside Wainui McDonalds, showing off to a group of twelve year old chicks no doubt. same thing. Down in a screaming heap, fistfull of revs in first gear.

    Very fucken cool.

Only if the timing is retarded so far beyond stupid. Can't imagine it would work on a disc valve. Would be hilarimouse to see his expression letting out the clutch though.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Generally waaaaay too far advanced. Sends the piston down before tdc...hence running backwards. And yes...it was priceless!

My son was trying to give me lessons on CBF250...."get the feel of the throttle and clutch" he says...hmmm didnt tell me not to accidently kick it into fisrt bloody gear though.....shit bike an I shot out of the garage and straight into front deck...bout 6m. Only thing i had time to do was twist the front to miss the front steps or id of been in the lounge. Bike was wedged so hard into the deck it stood up on its own. On a good note, my years of horse riding taught me to stay on the dam thing albeit with a nasty bruised ankle. Its taken me three months to get back on a scooter an get some form of confidence back

Oh, so you're one of the smacktards bike manufacturers have to put in these ridiculous idiot-cutout switches for?

I thought it was just over-litigious Americans but here's somebody actually asking for this crap

Have you told them how far it is from your apartment to work?

    (Less than half a k)
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
