My last three loaners have been a seriously wide variety

First was the Honda VTX1800 Cruiser... evil considering some other hornet rider got the CB1000R... hidden message me thinks

Then I got the 690SM Prestige when the SM went in the first time. Next time it was in, I got a 950 Adventure. All good fun tho

I'll see if I can find myself in the city tomorrow evening

At least my old two fiddy felt half way towards a bigger bike (right position and a decent size)! So yes i probably am a cc and sport bike snob... but it sure does make you appreciate your own baby!!
Haaahahaha, well there ya go, a VERY different ride indeed!
I used to love my old GN for what she was, but hate her for all that she couldnt do.
I still maintain they are the ULTIMATE learner bike, good for teaching control and the like on a stable and non-threatening platform. How long you can tolerate remaining on one varies from person to person, but i had awesome fun on mine!
And they have plenty of power round town, i used to wheelie mine clear across the intersection at every set of lights!

That said, i dont think i could tolerate one for more than a loan bike these days! The CBR was weird enough for just getting to and from work

    Keep speaking the truth brother!

I miss my GN sometimes, so many fond memories. But upgrading to the hornet was something that i really needed to do and i'm a much better rider for it! I would happily take a GN as a loaner bike for a day or two, but saying that i've never had a loaner bike!

    ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY GN

Well I suggest somewhere out south, via St Heliers "GP" backroads from Howick to Whitford, around Maraetai and then maybe to Kawakawa Bay?

Or just some urban fun, going to random scenic places and stop somewhere later on for food? Maybe the Daikoku proper restaurant !? Never been there before!

I'd be keen for Daikoku. Or Subway (since this fattie is on a diet).
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Well, the curse of my karma strikes again (this is why I am always so cager of agreeing to anything! )

Turns out my dad has just had two of his back molars pulled. He is hors de combat and in lala land!

So, me being the good son and all has to step up and work the takeaway shift!

I won't be finished until around 10pm. Feel free to drop around and snerk at me as I flip hamburger patties. Zeocen knows the way, bug him for directions and the best eggburgers this side of Auckland!

Pfft, just as well I went for some riding earlier today or I'd be one ornery gijoe1313!

@MBB : You? Fat? The last I saw you, you looked as if you were ingesting tapeworms!
