on second thoughts - I'm easily influenced

- see you at the summit of the Aka's at 1.30pm Mark - looking to you for encouragement for this old fart - running stock (read higher geared engine sprocket) and E07 on rear - but hey if I'm not living life on the edge I'm taking up too much space!

the difficult bit at our age is seeing the line between on the edge and over the edge and down the bank

Cheers Mark - I've spoken with Fred - he plans on being there - he's splashed out on maintenance and fitted a new front tyre to the DRZ

thanks Joe - Yep I'm heading in there with some apprehension - but heh as you know I've been heard to say 'life's vital!' ie for living not observing it isn't a rehearsal - also wifey just called me and I fessed up about how easily I'd been lead astry - she was sweet with this - better get on an sand the bookcase

he stopped to let me pass and put his foot down into a hole and as he tipped over I hit him fairly hard before bouncing off into the undergrowth

so he tries to be a gentleman and gets clouted for his efforts....

Looks like ANOTHER fun trip to Odlins Rd!!!

I can appreciate Aslan's situation having been in there on stock gearing and TrailWings - good on him for havin a crack at it regardless, as usual!

thanks Dave - certainly one of the more challenging tracks in parts - the surface of the main track is actually easier (with its rocky base) than sections of the Pram eh?

Hope you're still recovering well and see you Friday - I've committed to bring the big bimmer so I'm apprehensive about Matahiwi, Fishers and 42 - specially if there's a lot of rain between now and then.
