I spent three hours geetting a stylised red bellie back snake [complete with pirelli diablo 'scales'] on my right arm. It covers virtually all the space from elbow to shoulder. [picture to follow]
What I would like to say to those contemplating a tatt: some serious consideration should be given to preparation before hand. The pain could be described as someone drawing a scalpel blade through the skin, it hurts even the bravest. Dont get pissed or take drugs before hand, get a good feed and take some water to drink.
I have four tattoos at the moment. The largest across my lower back.. then one on each ankle and another on my right wrist. I don't think I'd describe any of them as being particularly painful while they were being done, then as soon as the swelling goes down, you're away laughing.
