Embarrassing? Oh yeah...

Took a bike out for a test run from a dealer; - I won't mention which one - went up and down the driveway before pulling out onto the road, got too excited and went straight across the road and binned it opposite the shop.

As it turns out, I / the shop was incredibly lucky as I dropped it on the only bit of grass to be found. Ya, so.. I'm fine, the bike was fine... mud is good for soft landings I suppose.

lol, yeah sure they did that...

It's embarrassing yes but I'm not going to go all emo over it. Live and learn I say. The bike was just fine.

When I was a young-un on a brand spanking XR 200 I managed to do the same thing. Impressed myself so much with a magnificent wheelstand down a friends driveway that I carried it accross the road and into the neighbors fence. Must have been all of 17 years old. Shall we form a club?

Thats why I won't hop on someone elses bike even if they offer... Just incase I ... erm knock it over or something..

Good to hear that your ok... Bikes ok... Slightly embarassed now but you'll eventually have a giggle bout it..
