    Wrong wrong wrong.
There are lots of other things that I get pissed off about.

Like..the other day like...I'm not sure which one.....it might have Wednesday but that doesn't really matter.....or it could have been Tuesday cos I was in Cromwell on Wednesday......anyway, that doesn't matter....what happened was right, that I had a lolly that was wrapped in a sort of waxed paper...a bit like a K-bar, you know.......except it isn't exactly like a K-bar cos it was a lot smaller and softer and tasted different....I'm not sure what it was called cos it came in a mixture....anyway.....I unwrapped it to eat it and some of the paper separated and stuck to the lolly....so I had to take time out of my busy day and pick off the little bit of paper....only I couldn't get it all off....it sort of peeled apart leaving a thin layer of paper on the lolly....I hate that and it really pissed me off!!!!!!!!

This being the thread containing the most experts on inter bike communication protocol, I need some advise...
Let me see if I have this right....I ride a GSXR1100 so I can't wave at european / american bike riders, the bike is not a post classic so I can't wave at old japper riders, the bikes 20 years old so I can't wave at new sprotsbike riders, I can't wave at learners cause they fall off and the scooter riders just look confused.

So, I need to know exactly who I can wave to and should it be a big happy wave, a casual one eyebrow nod or a park the bike, rush across the road and give them a big hug?

Now, it is important I get honest feedback, I would hate to cause offence to any of the delicate sensibilities out there.

    I'm waiting experts.

Shit a brick idb, I really don't know how you can pull yourself together after a day like that!
Have you tried drinking a bit more, that helps sometimes and you can talk to the glass as well. Cheers John.

Thats a rather delicate way of putting it, has some of your "aussie-ness" worn off?

I can still count to 23 (testicles included)....

It does raise an interesting point though, if you wave your fully functioning manhood at someone it must mean something different from waving your "looks good but disconnected" version.

As I said previously, I need advise, I would hate to offend...

It isn't right that your genuine request for information isn't attracting the serious consideration that you've asked for.
I don't profess to be an expert but I'll have a crack.

I'm really not too sure about Japper-to-Japper ettiquette but as far as European/Harley riders are concerned......Harley riders think that everyone else wishes they were on a Harley, so they look down with disdain on all other bikes and expect deference from everyone else - such as shrinking down and trying to look small when you pass or pulling over into the gravel as a symbolic recognition that you don't deserve to share the same road as them.

European bike riders on the other hand don't give a toss cos they know they are on superior bikes and so are usually happy to lift a finger or an eyebrow to all other lesser bikers to at least magnanimously acknowledge that they're trying.

    I hope this helps.

I think you will find that Harley riders don't wave cause they are really really old and the arthritis stops them getting their hands off it
I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
