Talking Its been a year already!

Man the weather looks major shit-hot for tomorrow night................

HAPPY 1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR THE ATNR!

Bit late for the party and champagne (yeah right), but the first proper ATNR was started on the 29th September 2005 see here for the original 'got no idea what we are going to do but lets go out for a ride anyway' in which, over the following couple of weeks morphed into the ATNR as we know it today.

Has anyone got any ideas for tomorrow night? Somewhere different? Something different maybe? Provided theres no mishaps..............like crashing

Yep could be a plan Speedie.............. anyone else got any ideas? Probaly best we pick a route on the night so Mr has a multichoice of roads to stalk us on. Could go up to the Kaukapakapa pub or Muriwai beach as well. There is a fish 'n chip shop right out by the beach in Muriwai but I dunno if it would be open... How about a night ride up to Puhoi? Just brainstorming, anyone else want to input?

Went out to muriwai the other day, yes there is a chippy there, but doubt it'll be open at that time.
Sweet fuck all in piha really, other than the beach.
Kaukapakapa is a nice pub with good food.
I'm all happy as long as there's food involved.

I'll put a vote forward for Kaukapakapa Hotel or Puhoi Pub as our destination.

The surf club at Piha is quite good - food and beer. and what used to be the Nikau club at the intersection of Piha and Scenic is a plesant place for a quiet one too.

Does this mean nobody is going to the Albany pub tonight? (yeah i haven't read all the thread)

Nope your ok BD. Was just bouncing ideas off people but we must take into consideration that the ALBANY SPEIGHTS BAR has been very good to us all in providing our own little 'clubrooms' and free nosh.

    So to answer anyones questions..........

    1. Yes. We are doin something a bit different tonight
    2. No. We aint eating out anywhere else
    3. Yes. We will see everyone else @ Albany afterwards
    4. No. I dont think the price of milk will come down the same level as petrol.
    5. Yes. The Thompson Twins are gay.
