Not if it is a sticker, stuck to the wind shield of your bike, which depicts a guy pissing on cars!

do check your contents cover as gear may not be covered whilst riding the motorcycle, and under a general contents policy clothing claims include depreciation...where as with Star Insurance http://www.starinsurance.co.nz gear will be covered whilst riding and is replacement old for new.

Yea .. i had an issue when i got hit 3 years ago.. tried to claim my hat on contents and it was only covered for theft and only at my house..

seeing as how its mandatory to wear one .. it should be easier to cover and claim..

You think since its a legal requirement for road riding, that road bike insurance should automatically cover it!

I mean car insurance covers seat belts .......

Not quite a thread jack but

I have just finished doing a repair job on a 2004 CBR1000RR that basically ran off the road at 35kmph and ended up in a ditch

1x disc- Radiator, all plastics, clip ons, and a few brackets

    $9456-00 later inc 6.5 hours labour @ $55

That man is happy to have his baby back, but his bike now owes him $27-456

because he hates the fact the insurance co's and agents are getting some of his hard earned

Kind of like those people in the floods that lost there houses and had no Insurance, total madness me thinks
