Feed the Trolls - someone has to.

As far as the shit talk goes, I'm sure you're old enough, wise enough, mature enough to handle it - whatever your occupation. If you don't ask you don't get and word will get round soon enough if things aren't on the up and up. As I said though if you don't ask... you'll end up sitting at home wishing you had. Hang tough it's bad bad world out (in here) there.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Cool

Ok you lot back off Julie.......

I have meet her and two of her kids... she is a very nice and genuine person.
One rider (Sollie) from KB has given her a ride on their bike recently and she loved it.

She is really genuine in having a ride on the back of a bike.....
She isnt wanting to go out on all the rides, as she has 4 kids to look after.

She is going to look at getting her Learner's license...
I have also offered to take her around a few shops to look at bikes...

I reckon a GN250 to start out on.... but first off she needs to go and sit on a few bikes to see what suits her.

She has also seen the mentors list... and will most likely hook up to one when she gets a bike.
I have also offered to show her the ropes.

I have suggested she check out BuckBuck1's thread on learning to ride, as he has some great tips in there.

Julie is not out there to get into any relationship with any KBers.

There maybe a time one of you could offer her a ride.... but on that day she is busy doing things with her kids (one in a wheelchair) but on another occassion she will be able to get her tribe looked after.

I have suggested to her to go into the Meetings and events section and if there is a ride happening that she is free on that day to put her name down.
She is happy to meet at the start up place.

Julie has stated her husband used to do sidecars (swinger).... It was out at Rosebank Rd on the kart track where he had a accident. From that accident he passed away some months later.

Lets stop the crap hitting the fan here....... Julie is a genuine person... who only wants to go on the back of a bike occassionally.

Oh and Julie does have all the riding gear.

But I have met some fantastic people on here (you guys know who you are, and the ones that dont will eventually work out who I am) and I am sure that rides will be forthcoming........just go with the flow

hey Julie ....just bare in mind that most new members don't post such an unique post for their first thread and as such you have managed to raise the suspicions of some of the more excitable members here...just don't take it personally is all...failing that just give as good as you get...good luck

    Julie

Hello Julie, i have read your pm and would now like to apologise for jumping the gun and suggesting you were something that you are not. I wont go into the reason's why on here, but will add that, what i said was unfounded and im sorry if i upset you in any way, i have a ride coming up on Oct 15th and if you can find a seat then you will be most welcome to come along, i dont send out invites normally, but i will make an exception this time, have a look at the ride and post in the thread, maybe someone will take up your offer, i would, but i ride two up anyway so im full...
    Cheers............Mark
