I'm surprised that in the second millenium, a franchise vehicle dealership can say to a customer that they don't have diagnostic equipment to test basic systems.
At least Harley dealers have all the required tools to service their bikes.
Like Winja said, some people are still in the 70's.

CHECK IT OUT , AND READ IN THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT BIT ABOUT THE 3 SWITCHABLE ECU PROGRAMS , SO FOR SHIT WEATHER YOU CAN SHIFT TO A SOFTER POWER OPTION , I THINK THEY CALL THAT THE HONDA MODE OR SOMETHING
The new gixxer has donkey mode so that rocket jockeys can remain upright on a new thou...

Maybe they should buy a Honda instead?

This is a public forum, advertising ignorance like that is poor form.
Harleys have an engine management system that shames any Jap manufacturers.
That's how they pass all noise and emmission laws with a 100 year old engine design.

05 GSXR 1000 did 307kph - power commander, pipe, velocity stacks and filter (and I heard Yoshi cams too but not too sure cause it's probably the owners secret) - that was also with an extra 400m run up over the R1.

Sweet FA difference considering the extra work and $$$.

Oh - I also heard a stock 05 Blade beat an 06 GSXR1000 (power commander, pipe, velocity stacks in the standing 1/4.

It's easier to wank on about your HP and bling bits, than it is to know how to use them effectively.

Honda wanted to make a bike that is useable and handles well, rather than just a track weapon.

But nice troll Winja, except for the personal attack on Lou.
