Yep, Tony was on the GSXR and Jay Lawrence was on the R1

That was my next question. The truth hurts eh...LOL.

Wasn't Oz Superbike won by a Blade as well ?

Anyways, that's partly my point - I ride my Blade on the road where it goes quite nicely thank you very much. Power is nothing without control.

So far from this thread I've gathered that Harleys are shit, Suzukis are shit, and so are Hondas. What about Kawasaki and Yamaha as well guys, surely someone here has a reason for them being shit as well. I know it's all light hearted but fuck me this argument gets boring. Ride what YOU like, realise that no matter what bike YOU'RE on YOU most probably couldn't get the most out of it, not enough to notice the difference that the track tests show between the models. Racing? Pah, unless it's proddy racing right down to oem tyres etc it doesn't mean shit to what you're riding on the street, and even if it did do you really rate yourself alongside GP and WSB racers.

    Carry on.

IF YOU WANT A REALITY CHECK THE HONDAS FROM THE FACTORY ARE SO FAR OFF THE STANDARD THAT JAREDS BIKE WAS ABOUT $100K SITTING ON THE GRID AND IT WAS SLOWER THAN A K5 GSXR1000 WITH ONLY MINOR MODS , WHEN IT COMES TO WSB ITS QUITE OFTEN THE CHEQUE BOOK THAT WINS , SUZUKIS ARE MORE LIKE THEIR FULL ON SUPERBIKE COUNTER PARTS THAN ANY OTHER MANUFACTURERS BIKES

Don't encourage them OAB. I've been struggling with.. I wont bite, I wont bite.. Someone will come up with some shit to sling at Mr K & Mr Y but I doubt that it will gel.
Why can't some people praise one brand without the need to slag off another. Inferiority complex maybe? Or trying to hide a truth about their own preference by firing false accusations at another?
The best bike in the world will always be whatever one I currently have! End of bloody story.
I bought the then new Z650 Kwak when it first came out and had no end of mechanical problems. Put me off the brand for years. That was then. Now, I'm bloody stoked with how well the K performs in every area including reliability and quality of parts. For example the paintwork. After 15,000ks in 9 mths it looks like it's never been out of the showroom. The paintwork refuses to chip or loose it's shine etc..

Yes Troy Bayliss has wasted them this year.
But if you look a little further, you'll have to agree, that since it's introduction, the GSXR 1000 has basically dominated. How many AMA suberbike titles? How many world endurance titles? How many Australian and NZ titles? Isle of Man.....and Troy Corsers WSB....

Now don't get me wrong....I don't rubbish other brands, as I know only too well how good they all are. ALL of them are better bikes than we are riders.
    BUT that wasn't my statement.

Bit pointless too showing us a Moto GP points sheet ....GSXR's are as we all know production based, they have nothing at all to do with what's going on in the GP world.

    As you were.

I thought about that too but assumed it would've been checked already.

Fault diagnosis has taken place by replacement. I.E they dont know whats wrong with it so they replace everything, the fact that Suzuki has supplied the parts suggests they have no clue either.
Interestingly Colemans have spent three weeks stalling trading the bike, I can only assume they to believe it to be a lemon.

I reckon a reasonable skilled auto electrician should beable to fault find the problem....there has to be a reason for whats going on....I do doubt you give a shit at this stage SPB but it would be interesting to find out what the fault is in the end....

you say it overheats.....what other symptoms does it hav?

I don't care.....my lawyer is currently attempting reconciliation with colemans that does not include the custard.

Over the last 6 weeks; random stopping, horn failed, overheating, set valve failed, excess fuel consumption, random idling
    And that fucken F1 light
