    Just a heads up
Let them come. If they are not going to do anything about and yet want to stop us doing something about it, then Im sure there are a few of us who would take it a bit further up the chain.

Do they really think the public likes being pissed about by an ineffective law enforcement agency?!

Maybe the police shoud stop wasting resources trying to set up speed traps for our rides and actually try to stop violent crime, now theres a novel idea aint it!

The reality is, this is an online spouting place. A plumbers shop of emotion if you will. I'm sure if the situation had happened to someone who was capable of dealing with it at the time, it wouldn't have happened at all. These sentiments are all very nice but the reality is, nothing will be done about iy other than people will vent a bit here and move on and forget it.

Excellent! Hey pigs, can you please get rid of all the white trash and sooties in our neighbourhood? They don't live here so what are they doing wandering around at night? Graffiti, vandalism and theft are rampant at the moment so any help would be appreciated.

    Ain't the internet great.

Then I hope they feel throughly ashamed of themselves.

What happened could easily have turned into something like http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/st...ectid=10404894

As to "idiots talking violence". Obviously, from this and many other examples, they don't give a stuff about idiots PERPETRATING violence. So why should they care about people TALKIN about it?

There's no quota for catching bashers. So they aren't interested.

I feel like slightly modifying my numberplate now. Brake lever mounted somewhere easily accesible, attatched to top of number plate; when lever is pulled, plate flicks up, latch the lever up and do what you want. Then when you're out of sight, un latch the lever and the plate flicks down again.
Fuck that's a good idea. Do something like OneArmBandit has for his clutch swap over. A smaller shorter leaver for flipping the plate up.

Why not put in on a hinge that is tight enough not to come loose but loose enough to be flipped up and down by hand. Far less conspicuous.

Sorry to hear about what happend to you, those guys sound like right cunts and deserve to receive the shit they deal out. The fact that the cops are being of little to no help makes me even angrier. I would say go and get even but it's probably not the best idea now that it's out in the open so to say.

Can't you guys put one hand over you no. plate and ride at the same time??

Saves worrying about "is the plate up or down" and getting pulled over 'cos you have no obvious no. plate.

Sounds like young hXc was a lucky lad. If driver or occupants of said ute had been off their respective faces on P or suchlike, the outcome may not have been so sanguine. Always take care in dealing with vehicles where the collective IQ of its occupants is less than the octane rating of the fuel powering it.
