Good thing that nobody on this forum would be so disrespectful to the Police and the NZ pubic. Crazy young fool.

Aw darn it, I was just about to post that....

It weren't me - the best I could do today is give my baby a wash - on call so no bike ride for me, although it is super out there!

Not that my poor wee GN could go that fast, anyhoo....

Hope all y'all that got out for a ride were sensible like, and had a good time!
Me and my imaginary friend have been goin' round the bend for some time now....

Hmm. Looks like someone hasn't sold his bike yet then.

They said it was at Kapiti - if so, considering today is the last day of the school holidays and the southbound traffic would therefore be horrendous, it's highly likely the cops were all parked on the shoulder facing southbound and the bike was heading north.

140kph? Cripes, sounds dead dangerous to me. Hell, I've been ticketed for not much less than that on a deserted stretch of road early on a Sunday morning!

Here's a good example why you should always display a licence plate. Something like this happens and people automatically assume they know who it was. It could have been any number of local bikers who don't display a licence plate, I know of at least two.

Perhaps more to the point the Police are going to be coming down like a ton of bricks on bikers without a plate from this point forwards.

It was nice to stretch the legs after a couple months without riding the bike. Must get around to selling it soon. But I think I've now proved my point why people like me shouldn't ride motorbikes.

That would be a good story if the cop count was right, the speed was right, and they actually did stop chasing.
