Just thought I'd be different and upload some pics of the CB "sans les roues".
I have been accused of being anal by Mrs CB but I must admit that I do tend to spend hours in the garage just looking at it, tinkering, cleaning, polishing and generally worshipping it. Am I alone in my adoration or do you fellow KBers find yourselves doing the same? I have even been known to talk to it!
Does anyone know a good shrink? In actual fact when these pics were taken I was caught thinking about having the wheels painted...half an hour later, I had set the wheels in motion! (sorry, crap pun).

Mate. I'm a good shrink and I have to say that the prognosis isn't good. This affliction is likely to follow you to the grave. On the way it will interfere with relationships, influence your decisions about the social circles you move in, probably cause physical and financial pain and may even see you taking time of work to feed the need. In cases where the afflicted is sufficiently motivated it might be possible to develop a treatment involving aversion therapy, addressing the underlying cognitive distortions maintaining the affliction and resolving the chidhood history that probably led to the initial vulnerability. As you might guess, this isn't easy work and can take considerable time. Research into the effectiveness of such treatment is non-existant but it would be my guess that it might be easier to work with P-heads.
Best thing you can probably do is find yourself a support group made up of the similarly afflicted and make sure that you have understanding whanau and friends. Most importantly! Do not go through extended periods of non-use without the appropriate medical support. Medications and distractions will be required to ease inevitable withdrawal symptoms.

i took the seat off the FJ a few months ago to have it reupholstered and give the under seat area a tidy-up

4 months later..

the seat still has a rip in it but the Weisco big bore kit, cams and worked heads make up for it ...just got 1000 k on the bottom end and all is good

( hope i dont have to tighten the chain anytime soon....)

Shit man don't grow out of that!
I'm 67 this month, had this bike nearly three years, it's only a 650 and I still do that!
We just came home from town and have already given it a little brush and cuddle!

Eccentric? weird! Who f**kin cares.

Nah mate, it's all to do with Feng Shui and minimalist use of space and proportion, not to mention the relationship and energy between objects in the garage. Note the considered position of the WD40 can for example.
