Some are male and some are female. Phoebe, with her two great jugs up front, is decidely female. So also is Petal, gentle and delicate little thing that she is.

von Klunken is decidely male, the jackboots give it away. As is ffwabbit.

As they all share a common gargre I live in constant hopes of hearing the scuffle of little mini-moto tyres one day.

If I catch any of the females hanging around the wardrobe door I'll know what's up.

I revamped a Corgi paratroopers world war 2 folding scooter back in the 1960's, put a go cart engine in it and used it while serving as a member of The Band of the NZ Army. It would fit on the truck that carried the instruments so I used it all over NZ from Whangarei to Invercargill. Its name was prominatly painted on its back panel:-

    BEATSWALKIN

Now days very few old regular force soldiers remember me (other than fellow bandsmen) but all in Burnham Army camp at that time remember the crazy bandsman in full dress uniform, instrument under arm, late, tearing down the road on Beatswalkin to the parade ground.

No name for my Hayabusa apart from "The Busa". However my 1982 GSX1100 is affectionatly known as "Old Yella" . This is because it is an old faithful (like the dog in the movie) and its painted yellow.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

nothing too outlandish for mine but well there's
'Babyb' for the bandit. i didnt name her but it stuck with us mainly from being the baby bike in my odd riding group & me being the youngest, & the decals they put on her. (my No1 baby)
'Barbed Wire' for '87 CBRAero racer couse that was her track name b4 i got her (cibby or tempremantal Bi*ch is often used too)
'Bear' well its plain & simple & deserves respect. its an '86 CBRAero still original
    but all are my babys
asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.

Well, there's no choke on the poor ol' R1 and after sitting neglected in the shed for three weeks while I'm away at work it's a cranky ol' bitch, and get's called the same. Once it asthmatically fires on a cylinder or two it's "ol' girl" and when the fourth pot chimes in it's "that's my baby".

Once the bike and I have reacquainted ourselves and we're warmed up I can give it a rip from the main road intersection and howl off towards the coast. The smile on my face says it all and no words/names need be said.

Coming across a damp patch under some trees on a frosty morning and the bike becomes hinged in the middle then I'll give an involountary "oi, ya phukka!"....but in fairness that's prolly directed more at me than her. My exhaustively trialled method of clutching the seat vinyl in the iron grip of my sphincter soon brings her back into line.

    Meet Crazy Frog

I've bought my wife a cute little 2 stroke animal. She calls it Crazy Frog coz it goes "A ring ding ding ding dada da ding" much like Crazy Frog in the Axel F re-recording.
