Good to see Haydon win the title,he did well to come back from behind on points.

But kinda sad Rossi couldnt pull off the final 990cc championship. He is a real champion and has an incredible mental strength and is the best rider without a doubt.

They ARE small.... and when Pedrosa makes the honda look like a huge bike... its shows how small he is

Double bubbles are almost a requirement on those bikes now

not a bad pic... wish it was high res. Still wish Rossi had finished top... I hate how Hayden acts up for the camera etc.

Anyone who's a dirt tracker too is OK in my book, and he was riding for Honda. I do like Rossi because he is obviously the best we have seen since Agostini in my view.

Like Rossi didn't; always poking his nose at the camera and doing tricks with stethoscopes and stuff like that? In comparison Hayden is rather mild. However, I don't mind that and as above I said I like Rossi, he is the true champion. Of late we have had a great bunch in MotoGP since Max left and took his attitude with him. Capirossi has been fantastic too.

Love this stuff on Hayden http://www.speedtv.com/articles/moto/motogp/33691/ he's been around a while. Motu this would bring tears to your eyes.

This is similar to the shot CFWB put up above with him on the RC211V except he's got his foot down and head up a bit http://www.speedtv.com/_assets/libra...kdtracking.jpg

He likes hanging it out http://www.speedtv.com/_assets/libra...7034_nhama.jpg

180cm.........so yeah 5'11'...but weighs 59kgs. He must have a tough fitness regime, i remember Mick Doohan always jogged around every circut that next on the list, doesnt seem like much but after the gym work wouldnt ya just wanna sit down with a cold beer?...

He never won the Daytona 200 or at Isle of Man like Ago did nor 15 world championships riding 2 bikes on the same day. I'm not sure if comparisons are ever apples with apples. Doohan was certainly tough coming back from his disappointment of '92 and I did like him too; oh yeah he was on a Honda.

A lot of people say Ago had it easy, but not when Hailwood was around. The 1967 GP at the Isle of Man was a classic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Br...cle_Grand_Prix.

Then for Ago to silence his critics by switching to Yamaha in '74 and still win the 350 championship and win at Daytona on the TZ750 first time out in USA was special http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/hall...age.asp?id=112 and then go on to win the 500 championship also on Yamaha the man could ride.

Not to take anything away from Hayden, Rossi or Doohan of course - all champions.
    Cheers

And not forgetting our own Croz'.....he also won the Daytona 200 and the Imola 200 in the same year, Croz' is also the only rider to win Daytona/Imola/Suzuka 8 hr/IOM....

I just love the contrast between Hayden and Biaggi, the latter looking TOTALLY out of his league on the Motard. And that sequence you described Hayden doing is just mind-bending. Brilliant!!!

All of those achievements were incredible..but I always hold Doohan in such high regards with his five straight titles AFTER such crippling injuries.
Hey my right leg's so fucked I can't use the rear brake! Never mind....put a thumb brake on the bars for me boys....I'll sort it! Gotta love it!
